I'm female, 40, feminist, lefty, a mum, a writer, Gryffinclaw. I like plot driven porn, het and slash, het/slash, gen, complex plots, out of control passion, and stories that peel back the skin of the human psyche to show its pulsing, bloody flesh.

This journal is where I immerse myself in the Potterverse (and more recently the Merlinverse too). It's all about Harry for me, but I'm becoming increasingly obsessed with Draco and Regulus. I also love the HP women - Ginny and Tonks, in particular, but I also love Hermione and Bellatrix. There are certain pairings I particularly enjoy - Harry/Draco, Draco/Ron, Harry/Ginny, Harry, Tonks, Harry/Bellatrix, Draco/Bellatrix, Harry/Almost any Death Eater, Lily/James, Lily/Sirius -- my all time favourites are Bellatrix/Harry/Draco and Tonks/Harry/Draco. *shivers just thinking about it* I have both dark and twisted and sweet and schmaltzy elements to my personality and my fan fiction preferences reflect that.

As for Merlin, I'm a hardcore Arthur/Merlin shipper, but I do love Uther/Merlin when it's dark and there are consent issues, abuse of power and fear of Merlin's magic being discovered.

I'm pretty open minded. You hate a character I love? That's cool with me, as long as you don't get offended by my Ginny love.

Some of the fic's etc. posted in my journal will be NC-17 rated, and some will be very dark and possibly disturbing.

More and more real life has been creeping into my journal, but it will be behind a cut. I have a son with autism, and I talk about him sometimes.

Friending Policy: I'm having to become more selective about who I friend back, as my Flist is too big at the moment. I'm really only friending back people with whom I've had some interaction. But go ahead, if you like.
